Nerf Longshot: State of Discontinuation

Yeah, I could have taken my own pic. But I got this one from GetPrice.com.au...
The Nerf Longshot. It's been renowned as one of the best Nerf blasters around for quite a while. The way it's internals function results in good range and plenty of bang for your buck. They have been around in various incarnations for years now, and in the last year or so, they have been slowly disappearing. This wasn't the most popular decision among Nerf fans, and more recently Nerf themselves have issued statements conforming the discontinuation of the Longshot CS-6.

After the Black Friday sales in America when Longshots sold for $15 each at Walmart (too bad I'm Aussie) US fans hasn't really seen a whole lot of the things. I believe that Singapore still have a few floating around, but not a solid stream. And then comes us Aussies. We currently have Longshots in abundance and at a descent price too. $45 is the asking price at BigW and Kmart, with the later being the best place too find them. A recent online sale at BigW saw them drop further to $30 for a limited time. Yeah, I know we're lucky.

In the US at the moment, Longshots are selling for exorbitant prices on eBay and aren't all that common. As for the rest of the world, if you see one in store, grab it right away while you still can. I personally have 3 in my collection right now and I have yet more on the way. I can't get enough of the Longshot, and judging by the rate they're selling from stores, it seems as though I'm not the only one.

Nerf Pinpoint Sight: Back by Popular Demand

It seems as though Nerf has been listening to the cries for the return of the Pinpoint Sight from their fans. A new Singaporean promotion has put the much sought after accessory back in store for an incentive to spend more. While stocks last Nerfers in Singapore can pick up a FREE Pinpoint if they spend $40 SG on the Nerf 'Light It Up' series.

I have personally never owned one of these, but word has it that they are pretty impressive. The fact that Nerf have started producing these again and that the promotion states that the sight is worth $12.95 SG hints on an imminent worldwide release. I'm sure this will be a huge hit with fans due to it's 'tacticool' approach to toys.
